One of my last, but not quite, endeavors with show choir was awards.
I love show choir awards, not just because of awards, but having the opportunity to spend time with some of my best friends and eat a lot of delicious food! I didn't eat as much food as I would have liked to, but I spent a lot of time with some of my favorite people.
Awards were a great time! My favorite part is when all of the seniors go and give all of their senior awards. Senior awards is when all of the seniors create awards for everyone else, so that everyone receives an award for something. Somehow, last year had this year I was one of the first people to receive my senior award. This year my great friend Noah gave me my award, which was titled "Most Likely to Hit You with an Umbrella". That award derived from us being dance partners for a number in the play where we had to dance with umbrellas... and I accidently hit him all the time... but he's still my friend and we look back and laugh about it.
Lastly, I gave all of the juniors and seniors letters that I wrote for them. Since I wouldn't be seeing or performing with them again, or anytime soon at least, I wanted to show them all how much they meant to me through my letters. I will miss all of my show choir pals very much!
