After spending the summer barely shopping, my friends and I finally got around to going out for a super fun shopping day. I was the driver like normal. And I hated it the entire way there, strictly because my friends are very critical of my driving and overall just bad passengers. I love driving them around, but when they're all together- YIKES.
The first stop was Hobby Lobby since I had to get a picture frame for a painting my aunt had done for me. The painting just came back a couple days ago and the frame looks so good!
After that, we went to the motherland: TJ Maxx. It is my favorite store ever and I spend hours at a time in there and could easily spend all day in there. But I couldn't because my friends were done and dragged me out... I got a cute jumpsuit while I was there, and it was somehow the only thing I got the entire day. We also stopped at Kohl's since Harley needed some shoes. While she was doing that, Natilie was just harassing me by shoving the little sock things down my shirt and in my purse. It's been about 3 weeks and I'm still finding them places.
The next stop was the mall. We spent so much time in there just going in and out of stores and looking through the windows. A lot of time was spent goofing around and trying on the most ridiculous things we could find- and that's what makes shopping fun! We ran into another friend of ours, Lena, at Rue21, and their clearance section was gold for her, Natilie and I.; because it was all ugly and fun. At Hot Topic we found some patches and wanted to get a matching one that said "Not Today Satan". Since there were only 3 and not 4, we ended up not getting them, but it was a worthwhile attempt.
For dinner I got Chick-fil-A, which I was so excited and happy to get. Except I dropped my milkshake... and it was very depressing. All I had wanted at that point in time for months was Chick-fil-A, and I finally got it. And what I had left of it was delicious. Harley ended up not finishing her milkshake later on, so I still got some milkshake and was very content.
A while after that, we mostly just wanted to go home since we had hit just about every store. And from there we were headed for a few days at Cat's lake house!
