Gift Shopping and Makis

I'm just going to start this post with I am such a whore for sushi. Maybe that's not the best ting to put on the internet but UGH, I love it so much. Especially makis, the Peruvian version of sushi). Most makis have cream cheese and avocado, and ugh. I love it, among many other varieties of makis. I will eat it all day everyday.

After a long morning of gift shopping, my friends and I were planning on going to a supposedly great American all-you-can-eat restaurant called Tom Davis- but it was closed. So plans changed to makis, and that is perfectly ok. Either way, it was all you can eat, which is what we wanted.

In the morning, my friends Eugenie, Kata and Yoyo all met at my house to go to Central Lima, where the best gift shops are. Being almost time to go home, it was time to do our gift shopping, so we got it all taken care of. We took a bus there from my house, then had to do a lot of walking to finally get there. But it was worth it! I loved it, there were so many cool things! But after a while, it got tiring, and we were hungry.

We went to Miraflores to go eat makis. Each plate of makis in the all-you-can-eat comes with 10 makis, and you have to eat all of them. No problem for hungry girls. I think by the end, all together we at 120 makis… a lot! We would have gotten more, but service was being slow...

Being in Miraflores, there's another Inka Market there, so we went to go check it out. I didn't get anything, because being the tourist location, it was a lot more expensive for the mostly same things. But it was worth a look. We didn't spend much time around there being that we didn't get anything. It was the end of the day by the time we finished, so we were all nice and tired to go home with our new goodies and full bellies.

Oh Fudge

Except I wasn't thinking fudge. In 24 hours I will be boarding a plane to go home. How will I pass these next 24 hours? The end is here....
