The hardest thing that happened over the summer that I knew was going to happen was the passing of my beloved companion, Charlie.
I could write an entire book about how much I love him, but I won't go on too much.
It was expected but unexpected. I was at my grandparents house the night before staying over, and woke up to a phone call from my parents saying that they had to do it that day. I spent the entire day with Charlie, and it was a great day. It's just too bad it had to end so soon. But it was time.
