Even though Fantacular was the weekend before, I still had a couple more show choir endeavors that had nothing to do with performing. The next one- a field trip to good ole Sandusky, Ohio. I was so excited for this field trip! I was getting to get out of school and get to go to one of my favorite places! It was quite a day though. The night before, my best friend, Harley, stayed over at my house. We were together for something that we both had to be at that Thursday evening, but I forget what it was... I just remember we were asleep by 10 pm and up around 5 am. In the morning we got ready, I made us her typical breakfast of "dippy" eggs and toast. Before long, we were at school waiting to go to Cedar Point. Even though the plan was to meet at school at 6 and leave at 6:30, our bus broke down before it got to the school. With that, we had to wait for the charter bus company to send another bus and we left around 8. After a 3ish hour bus ride, we got to Cedar Point! The day was fantastic and full of fun. The only downside was it was a cold, cloudy, and windy day; which really ruined the whole experience. Many of the thrill rides were closed because of the weather conditions, which also made the park much more crowded and the lines much longer. Despite that, I had a good day with my friends that made it much more bearable. Even though there were a few times where I just wanted to hit them... In the middle of the day, and the reason we took a field trip there as a show choir, was to watch one of the shows. It was a great and fun country show that we got to watch, and the performers did an awesome job. I loved getting the opportunity to see it and I enjoyed it a lot. They also did a Q&A with us at the end of their performance, which I got a lot of insight from. After a day of riding some rides and being surrounded by my friends, it became time to go home. I crashed on the bus and sat beside my friend Jaclyn. It was cold so we cuddled quite a bit. I listened to the Spring Awakening Original Broadway Cast Soundtrack, and it was great. Then I got home around 1, and I crashed in my bed after such an eventful day.
From the back left is Harley, Madison, Natilie, Katelyn, Cat, and myself. Should I be posting a picture of us flipping off the camera? Probably not... but this is the only photo of all the roller coaster photos where all 6 of us were looking at the camera. We were getting off of Millennium Force- probably my 2nd favorite roller coaster.
